likes and dislike tuesdays

Likes:

-That girl standing next to me, and our amazing weekend full of eating and shopping :) oh and the occasional breakdowns we have
-The band "the Head and the Heart"
-The fact that i'm making an effort to look cute everyday (i've really developed my own style)
- Florals and stripes and indian print
- the mini apple pies i'm going to make tonight
- Zupas :)

- The hot chocolate I drank this weekend. (it was like melted truffles folks) 
- kicking the snow out from under a tire

i get so much joy kicking these, it's not normal i'm sure


DISLIKES
-The semester is half over
- I don't know what i'm going to do this summer (or my life for that matter)
-The amount of schoolwork piled up on me already for this week. I need to take it one day at a time. I know.
-Lately my eyes have been burning and watering uncontrollably. So i'm sure my teachers think i'm having a breakdown during class
-Actual breakdowns. and then men that cause them.
-Deciding where to live next year

Dude-Bros

You want to know what I hate about this school? the men. especially the "dude-bro's"
(you know the ones that sit up on the third floor of the library "studying"  false they're actually checking out each girl that walks through the door, ready to pounce)
Am I bitter?

Anywhoo.. this is not important so i will not speak of it anymore on this lovely little blog of mine.


Last night was out nacho party! we made a Piñata!
(round of applause please)
Step 1: Take balloon

Step 2:Paper mache that sucker up. and make a contraption for it to dry like we did :)

Step 3: enlist your super awesome roommate to pain the piñata like so:

Step 4: have a friend destroy the piñata

The party was a success despite the power outage that happened right before that.

(I love power outages here. people go crazy)

This weekend I'm going to Utah with my friend Lauren.

its going to be epic.

40 degrees and it feels like spring time

Today its WARM outside! not warm probably to anyone other then us here in rexburg. You see two weeks ago I was walking to class in negative 20 weather. Now its a toasty 43*!
It makes me want to rip off these layers i've been hiding under and have a picnic or something!
(Picnics are really my favorite. fyi)


Anyways... I finished my craft of the week already. and now I have requests to make them for family members because it turned out so garsh darned well.

Sooooo
 Me and my roomie Jess like to have parties (we like themed parties. and food. so usually the party revolves around food) 
Let me guess.. You want to be our friend? yeah everyone does.
well we are having a nacho party tomorrow.
this means nachos. nacho libre. tacky Mexican decorations and if we have a little free time tonight we are going to make a piñata. (see now you really want to be our friend)
I'll let you know how the piñata making business goes tomorrow

Happy Valentines day! And on Other topics, I had a wonderful weekend :)

Let me tell you, nothing is better then having a great weekend after a long stressful week!
this weekend was just that!
Friday I went and saw "The Roommate" then we hung out and played games with some guys in my ward. let me tell you, I am a ping-pong machine. (and by machine I mean that I was able to nail just about everyone in the room with a ping-pong ball. on accident I promise)
Saturday- I took the plunge and........ (drum roll)

Boom. Turqoise in my hair.
You should all be impressed. I've been wanting to do this for over a year!
after that we went shooting.
guns freak me out.
but not as much as they used to. They just feel fake. anyways, then we went to a ward dance
(insert groans of pain here)
guess what? it was actually fun! I was dancing up a storm. (much to my roommates embarrassment i'm sure)
And then there is Sunday: Church was lovely, So was the time spent with friends.
let me tell you- they are fan-tastic.

Now it's Monday. the beginning of another week here in the iceberg. But we're young so lets make the most of it :)
